New Earth-New Heaven
The New Earth is an expression used in the Book of Isaiah (65:17 & 66:22), 2 Peter (3:13), and the Book of Revelation (21:1) in the Bible to describe the final state of redeemed humanity. It is one of the central doctrines of Christian eschatology and is referred to in the Nicene Creed as the world to come.
A New Heaven and a New Earth 21 Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,”[a] for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. 2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. 4 ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’[b] or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

An Alien landed on Earth to monitor the progress of the human species. He encountered a human who invited him to see their leader. However, the Alien was confused because he did not understand what a leader is.
The human explained that a leader is the one in charge of everything. He is also in charge of Government which is composed of politicians who are chosen by the people. Together, they execute the laws that they themselves also make. The government is the one that tells the people what they can and can't do. And we have to abide by these laws for disobedience is severely punished.
This makes the Alien all the more perplexed.
Based on the dialogue, he pieced together a pathetic picture of Government: a monster machinery run by politicians who are also members of the human species and voted by the people who are also humans but enslaved by the Government and the politicians. All are led by a leader, they call the President, who is also a breed of the human species.
The Alien was sad because, in the end, he found that the human species they had been monitoring for millions of years, since the time of the chimpanzees, had not really made any progress at all. On the contrary, they have been retrogressing.
Something, he thought, has been terribly wrong in the process of evolution.
The Alien decided to report this to its Council of Elders
